The Zhuyeqing Tea 53rd European Go Congress 2009 was held from July 25 until August 8 in Groningen, the Netherlands. The European Go Congress is the largest event of its kind in the world, with almost 1000 go players and visitors from around the world participating, held in a different country every year. Results can be found in the menu on the left.

Dear Go Players,

Last summer in Groningen many of you ordered a congress book.
Unfortunately, due to sickness and personal circumstances we had a delay with the preparations for the book. We restarted writing, editing the book and finishing the lay-out. Printing and shipping will also take quite some time as it will be printed in Asia, shipped to the Netherlands and then shipped to you. We expect that we can ship the book end of the Spring 2010/ early summer 2010 so that you can use it as preparation for the next Go Congress in 2010 in Tampere, Finland. We hope that this congress book will bring back good memories of the Zhuyeqing European Go congress in Groningen 2009.
