The Zhuyeqing Tea 53rd European Go Congress 2009 was held from July 25 until August 8 in Groningen, the Netherlands. The European Go Congress is the largest event of its kind in the world, with almost 1000 go players and visitors from around the world participating, held in a different country every year.
